Director's Message

Beacon Private School is a special place where every learner matters. We believe that every child has a unique set of needs, skills, talents, dreams, and interests and that our utmost responsibility, as educators, is to nurture and develop these aspects. We genuinely understand our learners and while we teach them the value of voice and choice, we also instill in them the importance of responsibility and reflection.  

BPS is a young school with already achieved milestones. In a brief period, we became qualified to offer the full IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme, obtained the NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges) accreditation and established a progressive curriculum that is guided by the Common Ground Collaborative framework of conceptual, competency and character learning. While we are proud of all that has been accomplished by our school community, we are even more excited about our dynamic future.  

Our teaching and learning practices are driven by the inquiry process. We encourage our learners to ask questions, seek answers and reach their own conclusions. Mindfulness and wellbeing are carefully incorporated in our programs to equip our learners with strategies to self-regulate their emotions and calm their mind. We advocate for multilingualism and therefore we offer daily classes of English, Arabic, Spanish and French. Our facilities are modern, welcoming, flexible, and purposefully designed to cater for the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of our learners.
