MEDICAL RECORDS  

The school keeps records on each child’s medical history, allergies, family doctor, and emergency contact. It is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that these records are up to date and communicated with the school nurse.  

MEDICATION IN SCHOOL  

Where a learner needs to take medication during school hours, whether regularly or for a short period of time, parents are required to bring this medication to the school nurse’s office with detailed administration in writing.  

ILLNESS  

Parents are urged to notify the school immediately about any contagious disease their child has contracted. Children who need to take antibiotics for an infectious disease must remain at home until they have taken a full 72 hours of antibiotics and feel well enough to attend school as normal.
